About Me

My photo
Mike and I got married on January 3, 2008 in the Salt Lake City Temple. We met December 31, 2003 on New Years Eve, after his best friend invited him to a party. It was nearing midnight, and I had never kissed someone before on New Years Eve. He was sitting there all alone, in his University of Utah sweatshirt, and his Grizzlies backwards baseball cap, and he looked pretty cute. I asked him, "Hey, would you like to kiss at midnight?" He looked confused... Then he finally said, "Sure." I went over to him, and gave him a little peck (which apparently did not reach his lips, more like his chin...) and that was the start of it! We have a beautiful boy, Aiden, who will be two years old in June, and he is the joy of both our lives! We are both working, and we are currently living in Lehi, UT.We are a happy family and love doing things together.

Favorite Songs EVER!!

I have decided to compile a list of my top 10 favorite songs EVER! I have already chosen two of them. I think my number one will always and forever be Starlight, by Muse. It's got a fantastic beat that just keeps you interested and hooked. The tone of Matthew Bellamy is beautiful, and it's got such a beautiful progression that lights you up from beginning to end!! Second, I have Vega4's Life is Beautiful. Talk about an amazing progression with the melody. It is so simplistic, and it's lyrics are beautiful as well. "Life is beautiful, but it's complicated. We barely make it.We don't need to understand. There are miracles, miracles." It's an amazing song and you should check it out!

Third, I've got Sex on Fire, by Kings of Leon. I've just become a new fan of this band, and what a great song to become a fan on! The sexy tone of Caleb, again it just reels you in and you can feel the passion in it. Like the Muse song, it has a beat that is just pounding and making it just impossible not to like... I wanted to get everyone's opinion on their favorite songs of all time!! I want to compile an amazing list!! Let me know!!

Road Trips

So, I've never been on a road trip to anywhere but California, and that was mostly with family. Mike and I did go on a couple, but again, that was to California for our honeymoon. We started to think of things that might be fun to see, maybe a bit spontaneous, quirky. We finally started thinking of going to New Mexico. I mean, who goes to New Mexico? We were thinking of going to the Carlsbad Caverns and see the caves and the bats. Roswell is not too far away from that, so we could go make fun of the people that believe in all of that UFO and extra-terrestrial stuff. Does anyone have any other suggestions that might be fun?
