On Saturday, Mike finally convinced me that it would be a good time to go night skiing, so we did! I actually didn't do too bad under the circumstances-circumstances being that I haven't been for about a year, and before that, about eight years or so. I have a very cautious personality and so I think that is what makes it so frightening for me to go down an icy mountain of death on long, plastic planks! It was snowing a bit, and the weather was just right (not below freezing is just right...) Mike is such a good snowboarder, and I feel so bad slowing him down all the time! He was very patient with me, and even by the end I was almost going the exact same speed! Anyone who knows me knows that I am absolutely horrible at two things absolutely. Those two things are math and sports. It's so nice to know that there is actually one sport at there that I can do without looking like a total idiot.
